Manchester United Team News, Updates, and Facts
Team News
Jose Mourinho will be missing key center midfielder Paul Pogba for the first of three matches here due to a suspension. Center midfielder Michael Carrick is also out, while Maraoune Fellaini and Nemanja Matic also look to be injury doubts as well for the Red Devils. As with all injury news, Mourinho’s words should be taken with a grain of salt. He’s very unreliable with injury news, so almost anyone could pop up in this match
Key Man
After a stunning man of the match performance away to Arsenal last weekend, David de Gea is the man to keep an eye on here. Arsenal are plenty good in the attack, but Manchester City have the capability of going above and beyond them. If that is to happen here, it could take a similar standout performance in goal from the Spaniard in order to give his side a chance to go down the other end and steal the points once more.

Man United Predicted Starting Line-up
Expected Line-up: 3-5-2

Pep Guardiola will be missing center back John Stones and left back Benjamin Mendy due to injuries. Center midfielder David Silva is supposedly a doubt, but Mourinho’s opinion differs from his counterpart’s.
Key Man
City fell to a loss for the first time all season in Donetsk, but that was with a nearly fully changed side. With their full team on the pitch, they have yet to lose, and a big chunk of that credit has got to go to Kevin De Bruyne. One of the best passers in the game already, the Belgian has now added goals to his repertoire. His pass to Silva last weekend against West Ham was one of the finest, most non-nonchalant passes you’ll ever see. He will have a huge say on the outcome here when the final whistle blows.
